Policy Management Software for Financial Services

Can you show exactly which version of your AML policy each member of staff has read, and when? When a policy changes, are staff made aware? If your policies live in SharePoint and your attestations live in a spreadsheet, pulling it all together for an auditor or the board can take days. Dayspring is policy management software for FCA-regulated firms. It keeps every policy up-to-date, regularly reviewed, approved by the right people and attested by the staff it applies to, without a complex and costly RegTech suite or a lengthy implementation project.

  • Transparent Pricing

Our pricing is published on our website and charged per seat, so you only pay for what you need. No quote process, hidden costs or set-up fees.

Upload the policies you already have, as they are, and you'll be up and running the same day. There's no implementation project, no months-long rollout, and no consultant fees.

Who is This For?

Dayspring is for FCA-authorised firms with roughly 50 to 500 staff: wealth managers and financial advisers, consumer credit and mortgage firms, insurance brokers, payments and e-money firms, and asset managers. It suits firms where a small compliance team looks after dozens of policies, and which have outgrown SharePoint and email but don’t need the expense and maintenance of an enterprise GRC platform.

  • Senior Management Approval

New and updated policies are sent to the chosen approvers first, whether that’s your MLRO, a senior manager, a committee or the board. Dayspring records who approved which version and when, so you have exportable evidence that your AML policies were approved by senior management without searching through old email chains. Staff are sent policies only after they've been signed off by all the approvers.

  • Every Change Logged & Explained

Set a review date for each policy and Dayspring reminds the policy owner when it’s due. When a new version goes up, the old one is archived automatically and Dayspring writes an editable, plain-English summary of what changed. Staff see that summary when they’re asked to attest, and it’s saved in an exportable version history report you can hand to your auditors or the board.

  • Version-Specific Attestation

Choose who needs to read a policy and Dayspring sends it, chases anyone who hasn’t responded, and records each attestation against the exact version they read. Staff can accept a policy, reject it or ask a question about it, so concerns get raised rather than ticked past. The result is an exportable report showing who attested to which version and when, achieved without spreadsheets and endless email follow-ups.

FAQs

Answers to the questions community banks ask us most about managing policies in Dayspring. Still got a question? We'd love to hear from you, contact us here.

Does my whole team need a licence?

keyboard_arrow_down

Yes. Everyone who needs to work with your policies needs their own seat. Seats can’t be shared, because attestation records are tied to individual people. There are two seat types. “Full Seats” are for people who upload policies, run workflows and access reports. Lower-cost “Guest Seats” are for staff who only need to read and attest policies. There’s a minimum of 3 Full Seats per workspace.

How long does it take to get set-up?

keyboard_arrow_down

Sign-up takes minutes, directly from the website's pricing page here. After sign-up, you'll receive an email with your temporary password — it'll take just a few more minutes to create your new password, set-up MFA, and gain access to your new workspace. From there, the process of uploading policies takes around 2-5 minutes per policy: there's no implementation project, no consultant required, and no timelines dictated by a third-party. Most teams are fully set-up within an hour.

That said, the real value of Dayspring builds over time. Version history reports and acknowledgement reports reflect what happens on the platform from the point that you start using it — so, the earlier you adopt it, the stronger your policy governance evidence will be.

Is Dayspring secure?

keyboard_arrow_down

Dayspring is ISO 27001 certified, the international standard for information security management, and access is controlled at the level of each document. Your data is hosted on AWS in Ireland. If you have any questions, or would like us to complete your due diligence questionnaire, please contact us at compliance@dayspringsoftware.com. We'd be happy to help.

What happens if the person who manages our policies leaves?

Nothing gets lost. Every policy’s owner, review date, approval history and acknowledgment records live in Dayspring, not in someone’s inbox or desktop. You can simply reassign the policies to a new owner and they can pick up where the last person left off.
